BufferZone Pro is being given out free this month:

Does anyone have any opinions about this software?

Never heard of it before, so certainly haven't used it.

I don't know if you would require it if you have avast Pro/AIS as that has its own selective process virtualisation.

Not to mention...sounds like a potential conflict situation if one is running Avast Pro/AIS in PV mode...Ya think ;)

May give it a try as I really like "free".  Might be a good add-on for use using free Avast.

Personally I have never felt the need for sandboxing, I have pondered it for years, but never got past that point and I have survived without one.

With good conventional defences and a healthy does of common sense you can avoid much of what is out there, but if all else fails you need a robust backup and security strategy.

Like DavidR said...

Seems kinda weak (for my eyes) but... you can always take a try.
Can be free... but free sometimes can turn a lot of expensive, if you know what i mean.

Tried this last evening and was not impressed, but an image restore removed it nicely.
