Using license file of AVAST INTERNET SECURITY (for windows) to UBUNTU 10.10

hello all,
i am using windows 7 ultimate & Avast internet security...
now i am planning to install UBUNTU 10.10..my question is,am i able to use my license file of AVAST internet security for UBUNTU?

Hello 3snova,

You don't have(can't) install ais license for linux versions. avast! linux is free, so you can apply for a free key here : http://www.avast.com/registration-free-antivirus.php After installing, when you run the program for the first time. it will ask you to insert the key. You can paste the key sent to your email id and click ok.

Download http://www.avast.com/linux-home-edition#tab4 (Ubuntu - deb package)
