Windows Updates for Vista
« on: December 15, 2010, 08:14:12 AM »
Hello people – season's greetings to you all wherever you are!

I don't know how many of you run Vista, but the Windows Updates that usually take place in the second week of the month did not happen in November nor this month, although Automatic Updates are scheduled.

Meanwhile Windows Defender continues to update itself and scan automatically every 4 days or so.

Any one else experiencing this?
windows 10 version 1809 (Build 17763.195) 64 bit home - ACER Aspire 17 SSD  Processor Pentium CPU N4200 @ 1.10 GHz. - HD graphics - 4GB RAM -
Avast free. Windows Defender. Malwarebytes free scan.

You are right - today there are 10!

It concerned me because I read articles about Windows patches and security problems - and then it occurred to me that the updates had not been coming as regularly as they used to.

I received 11 for my XP Pro system and 10 for my Windows 7 system.
It depends on what operating system features you have installed.

I keep Windows Defender updated daily through its portal:
Latest definition version: 1.95.1822.0
http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Definitions/ADL.aspx

Choose the correct update for your system 32-bit
