Yeah i had several avatars, when i first joined the forum back in 2005 i didn't have any photoshop skills yet so Sash made a few avatars for me and i loved his avatars so much that i decided to learn photoshop myself. Back then it was Photoshop CS2 and it had a great program for doing animations with it called ImageReady so i started using that for making animated gif's. So now i am doing my own avatars and userbars but it was Sash that got me into it, so thanks Sash !

BTW Chrome doesn't yet support animated PNG files, FF and Opera are the only ones that i know that support them properly. A shame cause those avatars would look great in aPNG format. So i am stuck with the GIF format but to be honest you can still make decent avatars with the GIF format, they are just not as "clean" as they could be if they were aPNG(24bit images and 8bit transparency which is something you cannot do on GIF's).

Anyway, another nice extension for Chrome, not a security one but it sure makes it easier to navigate Chrome's about: pages and settings:

ChromeAccess

EDIT: Fixed the link, now links to the english page...

Would be nice if the whole page was in English.

It is a nice Extension though.   8)

[My friend is using Win. 7 Pro :-\ which is scaring the crap out of me with this new OS :o so I'm going over their to setup for him ::)

You'll want a Windows 7 system after you see it.  ;D

By the way it comes with Windows XP Mode that comes as a separate download:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/features/windows-xp-mode.aspx

The extra $80.00 for that feature was not worth it for me.

Where is the $80 coming from?

As long as you have a pre-existing XP license, you should be able to use that for free.
