I have a friend who has a worm in his computer and restarts his computer in about 7-10 minutes after turning it on. I have tinkered his BIOS a bit and his PC was "normal" as in it would not restart by itself. Now I need to get rid of the worm from his computer, so I thought of installing avast on his computer. Now the problem with this is that the previous time I had tried to install it on his PC, he needed an internet connection, something he canceled a while back. Is there a way to install it on his PC without the internet or is he pretty much doomed? Or a different anti-virus without the use of the internet?
