Newbie question
« on: December 26, 2010, 02:18:15 PM »
I recently installed avast and can't see where to read the report (after scanning).  I DO see the "statistics" but the numbers don't indicate a full scan.

Where is it?

does it scan the whole computer without me doing it manually?

and how can I set it up to scan automatically every morning?

Thanks!

open avast > Scan computer tab > Scan log (under the first tab)

open avast > Scan Computer > Create custom scan (lower right corner) > Scheduling

For your first scan, I'd suggest you schedule a Boot-time scan.  :)

Actually avast! 5.1 was released and the boot time scan now works on 64bit systems aswell. :)
