Problem With 5.1.864 and Dell WLAN Card

Love Avast but this is another major hassle after a program  update!
After Program Update Dell  WLAN Card and Windows Vista Solutions pop ups went crazy,could not stop or turn them off!Trouble also  after add and remove uninstall,finally ran Avast uninstaller and now using older version,when will they have a fix?And why does my Program Version now read  5.0.864,I can't seem to find this version on any of the   lists of older versions?

The version issue has also been mentioned in other threads.

The latest build is 5.1.864 (the 5.0 indication is an error). On my Dell system, the 5.1.864 version will work OK if you uninstall the Behavior Shield after updating Avast, as a temporary work-around. Again, the thread links above offer more information.
