Very glad to hear that, i have also tried it and from what i can tell it works as advertised. It has a differential backup option(personally i prefer incremental but that's just me) plus a scheduler so that's a big plus. The GUI isn't exactly brilliant but it get's the job done. I'd say this is the most feature rich program of all these free ones. It's certainly worth a try. :)

Yeah I'm still worried :-\ and hoped Paragon Backup & Recovery 2010 Free Advanced will not failed me in the term for all future Windows OS, also I'm asking for Win7 users to do a complete test for me and it up to you as I'm only asking.

Had anybody test the Macrium Reflect v4.2.2952 Free Edition on Win7 according to this latest website ??? http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.asp

@Tech: Why are you trying BartPE ??! Obviously that is based on the old XP and 2003 Server and it won't ever work with Win 7. You need to select the Linux recovery option. WinPE 2.0 recovery disks are only available for the paid version btw...

He right according to their site it said Note: BartPE is only suitable for 32-bit Windows XP and 32-bit Windows Server 2003 environments.

Macrium works just fine on Win 7 Speedy and so does Paragon(at least for me)...

The program(Macrium) offers 3 recovery environments, BartPE(can use with XP), Linux(use with everything including Win 7) and WinPE 2.0(only available on the paid option).

EDIT: You only need the WinPE 2.0 recovery disk if you are running RAID, otherwise the Linux based recovery disk will do the trick.  ;)

Understood man! I have so much to learn about these new features from the free version Macrium and Paragon also I've installed the free Macrium and create a backup, just in case IF Paragon FAIL otherwise I'll go bloody mad >:( ;D

You need to select the Linux recovery option.
But then I need a CD/DVD and not an USB drive... At least, directly, I coundn't manage how to boot from that iso.

Hopefully that little utility will be helpful to convert the CD/DVD image to a bootable Linux USB stick, when I eventually get around to it. I must allocate some time to it or it won't get done ;D

Like i said though, personally i will be using the in-built Win 7 backup option as i finally got it working 100 percent. Had some weird issues with it before but they are all sorted out now.
I have as well on my Windows 7 system but I paid for the Acronis True Image Home 2011 upgrade on my XP Pro system and it is working well for me.
