[Resolved] 5.0.677 set-up file
« on: January 07, 2011, 05:21:55 PM »
How do I get rid of an old 5.0.677 set-up file? I recently switched to 5.1.874 and no longer need the old set-up file. I have used CCleaner and Advanced Registry Optimizer. The set-up file just won't leave. BTW 5.1.874 has survived at least two re-boots on my Acer laptop with no problems. And yes, I did a clean install.

As in the "setup_av_free.exe" file (or something similar - depending on language and product)

You can just delete it in the normal way. Once installed the setup file is not needed (unless you want to keep for another install)
