When FireFox v3.x v4.x, have finished the downloade file(s), Avast v4.8 scan files downloaded, but not v5.1.889.

I don't know what you are using to have avast scan the files ?

But firefox has never been able to initiate the virus scan of avast, you had to input the command into your download manager or add-on. This path obviously changed in avast5 so unless you changed that it won't work. C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\ashQuick.exe
