How to get 4.8 to send viruses to chest automatically?

Going crazy reading everything but still haven't figured it out.Guess I need clearer instructions. I don't want to have to respond throughout the entire scanning process. Can't this be done at the end of the scan?

Not directly in avast 4.8, this is possible in avast 5.0 (which has been out for a year) and avast 5.1 released at the start of this month.

It is so long since I have used avast 4.8 that I really can't remember any workaround to this issue.

Also avast 4.8 is not long for this earth as support for it is meant to end very soon, no specific date given.

You're welcome.

Provided you don't have win9.x or winME, then your OS should be supported - Direct links for the setup files as you can't update to 5.1 from the 4.8 GUI.
