STOP THE PRESS!!

I haven't changed anything since yesterday, since my last post, but the hot chick has just informed me that the virus database has been updated!!
I am guessing that this was a server fault at the other end?

If so, or whatever the problem, it seems to be ok now. If the problem never happens again, then please accept my thanks for all the help onm this issue.
It was good to know that the program was still working throughout and I could still feel at least partially protected.

Thank you once again.

@ Horseysi,

Glad to hear your problem is fixed.  Was the only change a virus definition update? 


@ Other posters in this thread,

Are the other posters in this thread still having problems or are they resolved with the latest virus definition update?

No problems here seems like avast fixed it thanks to all the guys involved in this thread and behind the scenes at avast
