Having trouble scanning file
« on: July 14, 2003, 02:50:47 AM »
After running a scan the report said that it cannot scan a certain file because its password protected. Its in a zip file in spybot application data. spybot uses no passwords that im aware of, or remember. The file is called MSVPREP.EXE. How can i scan this file, as its the only program that cant be scanned on the list?

hi,
newer versions of spybot DO use encryption for  their backup files, so as to prevent alarms from other ad-ware/spyware-scanners like ad-aware  :)
