How to use Avast Sandbox properly on Google Chrome?
« on: January 21, 2011, 04:22:17 PM »
Because as far as I know, Google Chrome has its own "Sandbox" but I was still being able to of course just do "run as sandbox" thing with Avast like I did with Firefox.

Thing is, that when I view on Youtube and stuffs, it says Javascript is turned off or you have to get the latest Adobe Flash Player.

Now this thing doesnt come up when I run it outside the Avast sandbox, everything is just back to normal.

However, seeing that Avast Sandbox works flawless with Firefox but doesnt with Google Chrome - how can I make it work properly on it?

Looking for advice from any Avast/Chrome users here! ;)

pk has explained this more than once. Or, maybe, Lukas...
A forum search for Google Chrome sandboxing could help.

Anyway, Chrome just isolates each tab into a process. It's not a file system/registry key sandbox like avast (or other 3rd party tools).
avast sandbox works with any application (including browsers and, of course, Chrome).
