On Access Scanner Message
« on: August 30, 2004, 09:59:27 PM »
??? The On-Access Scanner Message keeps popping up from my task bar while surfing the internet. How can I turn off the "Visual" effect. It blocks my viewing of the web site that I go to until it finishes its scan.
It is very annoying to have to wait until the scan is complete to view the site or to click on links.

Hi!

Left click on a blue "a" ball in tray (next to the clock).
Click "Details... >>" button and select Standard Shield.
Now click Customize... and select Advanced tab.
Remove checkmark in front of "Show detailed onfo on performed action".
This should do the tric.

Its interesting how this feature sometimes gets enabled by its own ???
Anyway its nothing big actually :)

Fuzphil, wellcome to forums.
Actually, it's not a default action. You should activate it without knowing  ::)
