SafeZone cannot reuse already installed user's webbrowser and modify it - it'd be most elegant (user can continue using his web browser s/he's used to it), but it's not safe. Finally, we could choose only between FF or Chromium engine. I'm a FF guy, I love FF and use it. Opera isn't also bad at all - my gf uses it so do I (unfortunately it's not open-source). Chromium is huge project, its source code is written very well - something what's not seen so often. We modified Chromium web browser, removed some problematic parts (e.g. autoloading of some plugins, ...) and we plan to implement other security plugins after v6 release when we get more time - and thus, Chromium was the evident choice.

I don't understand this SafeZone.
Browser in sandbox - it is safe, too. Or Not?
What's the difference between browser running sandboxed or safezone??

I am very happy because I will have auto-sandbox for free. I can't wait for v6.0.  :)
I know that it will arrive when it is ready. But... about when? May, June?

Imagine SafeZone as an "inverse sandbox" ;)

You run a browser inside of the sandbox - so that if the browser gets infected, the infection stays contained inside of the sandbox, it doesn't affect the rest of your operating system.
You run a browser inside of the SafeZone - so that even if your system already is somehow compromised (there's a keylogger running on your OS, and avast! possibly doesn't know about it), the browser inside of the SafeZone is still safe.
