Shouldn't Safezone be exclusive to AIS? Safezone protects your identity, and AIS is meant for those who shop and bank online. Avast Pro should only be a full featured antivirus with the added sandbox, and not guarding against identity theft. Right?
Yes, right, it will be only in paid versions of the suite (AIS).

Thanks Tech for replying. But I could've sworn I read that Safezone will be in the Pro version also. ??? (probably said by pk) There should be more incentive to buy AIS, and identity protection is AIS's job.

I asked Petr, but he doesn't know right now if SafeZone will be available in both paid Avast! versions.

Well... a few notes:
- you're mixing several products together (user-end / business editions)
- some of the features (such as SafeZone) will only be present in the paid versions
- the fact that something is in the translation package... doesn't make it 100% sure to appear in the program (could be delayed till some future version, could even be changed in between). Not that I have anything in particular on mind, just speaking generally... might be better to wait till the things are really done - and not be disappointed if they're not ;)

As for the SafeZone, I would guess it's something else than what you imagine, but I haven't seen it myself yet, so I better won't talk about it.

Hey will WebRep thing be in the free version?
OS: Windows 11 64-bit

I can't seem to find this on the forum, so I'll post it here: http://public.avast.com/mkt/20110124_Avast_Autosandbox.pdf
This gives a bit of info on how the sandboxing is going to work.

btw, Safezone sounds really nice. :)
I hope applications other than web browsers could be executed in Safezone as well.

From Petr :

In the first version, the only app which can be executed there will be a special web browser. But we plan to support all other apps (however, this requires some GUI settings and this is not ready yet).

4. WebRep. This new version comes with an innovative module called avast! WebRep which allows you to view reputation ratings for each website that you visit and for your web search results. WebRep integrates with your browser so that you can view the ratings immediately. Already in beta test phase.

You can explain more about this? Thnak

How will function?

It will be like "powered-by" Avast! members?

5. Sidebar gadget monitoring avast!. Windows gadget.

This will be a substitutive for screen saver scan, isn't it?

Sorry for my ignorance about the new features.

Yes, the success of WebRep depends on the Avast! users base. You can vote on about what degree you like a website ( or not ), and on what the contents of the website is.
