script blocker
« on: January 27, 2011, 04:32:08 PM »
Hi, everybody! :)
I need to download a plug-in update and when I'm about to install it, a dialog box appears, with a message that says that the script could not be run and something about the Windows Installer package. Could it have anything to do with avast script blocker???
I'm clueless  ???
I'd appreciate it if any of you could lend me a hand!
Thanks, people!!

I highly doubt it is. If it was, then it would give you a popup message.

No, this message does not come from avast script blocker.
Can you post a screenshot of it?

NO nothing to do with avast script blocked. Just a failed installation package, unfortunately it doesn't state what script is missing.

You you could try reinstalling winamp and ensure you have the latest version and then try downloading the latest lyrics plugin and see if that works.

You could also try jetAudio Basic which is free and has that function built in.
