Nice we are mentioned but there's a problem.
Look at the JPG  it looks like this AV is for LINUX.
Vlk, Please get that changed!!!!!!

If I go to that site looking for a recommended or supported AV program and my OS is Windows, do you really think I'd look at Avast for Linux?

In my opinion, it's a big issue. It should be the icon without any specific OS mentioned the it's available for all.
Who knows, we might even get some Apple lookers. ;D

Bob

I am not such a close looker as you, it took me a while to even find where it said Linux in that page, i would hope it would be the same foe everyone else.

Anyway most AV's work in all OS's, so most would look at the avast page anyway for a windows and apple mac version.

Even if not, we will get more linux users/support anyway, and more virus/Malware samples.

Hi Bob,

Well my opinion is its not a big deal as after all he is using the Lynx edition. If you click on the link it takes you straight to the home page.

I will drop Jotti a line though to see if he can change it!

Cheers

If you look closely, None of the other AV vendors have an operating system in their logo's. Do we know something they don't or, are they the smart ones for not restricting themselves?

I got the same thought. I belive a normal avast! logo without any system specific sign would be a better choice. Just for ppls to know that there are several editions for different systems.

I know that in marketing on of the first rules is to NEVER shut a door before any one has even had a chance to open it.
Just some friendly advice. :)

Hi,

I dropped him an e mail and he has changed it to the yellow one. Rejzor if you have sent that blue one I am sure Jotti will change it.

Every time I have e mailed him I have had a response back within 10  mins.

Cheers

Hehe, poor Jotti, he spent virtually all day implementing avast to his system... :) :)
