unable to use the computer since I purchased and downloaded Sunday morning

I was using the free version I decided to purchase I paid to be able install on 3 computers, I dowloaded on one of my laptops now I cannot use I am unable to open the control panel to uninstall it. Tried getting help using Avast ticket thats useless.

what antivirus did you have before installing avast?
did you remove it before installing avast?
did you run the vendors removal tool after uninstall to clear any leftovers that may conflict?
