Newbie question
« on: January 29, 2011, 05:16:58 PM »
Hello,

I'm a new user to avast! Free Antivirus.
Just a curious question: I installed avast! Free Antivirus version 5.1.889 on a Windows 7/Office 2010 computer and a Windows XP Pro/Office 2007 PC. I noticed that when opening Outlook 2007, I get a pop up telling me about an avast MS Outlook addin installed. However, when opening Outlook 2010, I don't see any popup of that kind...The general settings on both computers are the same and incoming and outgoing mail shields are activated..I assume Outlook 2010 is protected...? Can I check that in Outlook 2010?
Thanks in advance
