PDF plugin not working

Dear Forum,

Firefox cannot always open PDF documents. Sometimes they open successfully. However, a black screen usually appears with no document.

I would be grateful for any advice.

Do you have Adobe PDF reader or foxit ?   Is FF the latest beta ?

Hi Essexboy,

I have Adobe Reader X and Foxit Reader 4.3.1.0118 installed.

Firefox 3.6.13 is not the beta version.

It may be a conflict between Adobe and Foxit as they fight to see who gets to open the PDF

Try uninstalling one and see if that resolves the problem

Adobe would be great to uninstall. However, would Foxit Reader link in nicely to open all PDFs?

after starting to use Foxit and sumatra on  my little netbok i have never looked at adobe again....

Uninstalled Adobe X and it all works now. No Ask Toolbar installed.

Regnet plasker ned og søen er vekk  ;)  og det er meldt dritt vær hele denne uken  :P
