After installing the PowerISO application my system boots, but I cannot run any programs from a desktop icon, quick launch, or START Programs. most times I get a normal cursor on the desktop but a constant hour glass in the taskbar. If I double click a desktop icon, I get the constant hourglass icon. I get no response if I hover the cursor over a status icon, or left or right click them. The only way to exit from this is to shut the system down drastically by holding the power key depressed. In order to get the system back, I have to boot to safe mode and delete PowerISO and AVAST and then reload AVAST. Note: PowerISO is not the only application this happened with.
