How to silence the "virus database has been automatically updated" announcement?

how can i silence that loud announcement -- "virus database has been automatically updated" -- whenever avast virus database updates 2 or 3 times a day? it can scare the crap outta' ya' when it suddenly appears at a high volume while VoIP'ing.

Go to settings/sounds and turn off all the sounds or do it selectively.
