Is there a way to tell what version of avast is installed? Thanks for any help. :)

yes....open the program and all info is on the gui

there is a line that say something  6.0.? ? ? ?

do you see the screenshot i sendt........ read what it say on top of the gui


also if you have avast AIS you will have a firewall tab on left side
