Hi.
I installed the new 6.0.1000 on my computer today with a clean install. I unninstalled my previous antivirus, restart, clean with CCleaner, restart and then install avast! Free. I encounter a bit of a slow down on my Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 desktop. After I type my login password and I press Enter it stays in 'Welcome' mode about 30 seconds and then it shows the desktop. This didn't happen with my previous antivirus. It stayed in 'Welcome' mode about 5 seconds and then it was ready to go.
This also happens on another Windows XP SP3 machine and also in my virtual machine with XP SP2 installed.
It's not that big of a deal but I was wondering if someone has this problem also and is there a solution, maybe.
