Avast found a virus, Win32:Revop [Trj], but cannot find the file, C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer\sim\bdl14122.exe.  What do I do?  I can't move, delete or put it in a chest.

Welcome to the forums.

This sounds like adware/browser hijack, not a virus per se.

Try Adaware se and Spybot first

Post back with the results and some more information about your system so we can help you further. O.S. (Windows version 98 m.e. xp nt etc.)

Also a Hijackthis log would be useful.

tamatha, try here and follow the links for manual removal halfway down the page.  It might be best to print out the instructions and dis-connect from the internet before following them

http://www.pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/e/ezula.asp

I don't use this programme and don't endorse it, although the manual deletion steps outlined might help you.

Take care, Pest Patrol brings a lot of false positives and can mess your computer. When you think you're detecting too much you're hurting your windows/applications installation.
