I can't update Avast build 6.0.1000 via GUI

Hey guys I was wandering if I can update my Avast build 6.0.1000 via GUI into build 6.0.1044.
When I tried to check for updates I can not do so and it is stated that it is up to date. Any ideas guys?

So you mean I should wait for a while to update via GUI?

You can either wait until release, or download from the link I posted and run the installer - no uninstalling of 6.0.1044 needed.
6.0.1044 is very stable, you can use it safely.

But why I can't update my Build 6.0.1000 into newer version like builds (6.0.1021, 6.0.1027, 6.0.1035)? It says I am up to date?

Because it is not an official release. 6.0.1021, 6.0.1027 and 6.0.1035 are old prereleases, they are obsolete now.
6.0.1044 is the current prerelease. Prereleases can not be updated via GUI. You either download and install the version or wait until the prerelease becomes an official one and gets distributed via GUI update.

And just one little advice: do not try to post or comment in every thread. This is easily regarded as spamming, trolling or just post-count hunting.
If a thread has been inactive for 24 hrs or more or if you can't add anything new and substantial, it is no use to post anything.
