Avast 6 Startup Message

So I've recently updated to Avast 6. Everything seems good, but I've noticed that there is a "secured" message that now pops up every time at system startup. It's nothing huge, but it does get tiring after a while to remove it whenever I boot up my computer. So is there a settings feature to prevent it from popping up?

I've never seen it on WinVista for some reason...

Is that the avast gadget?

If so you can permanently disable it by going to:
   Control Panel >  Programs and Features > Double-click Avast > Click the Change option then next > Uncheck "Avast! Gadget" then click next.

That is the avast gadget for Vista and Windows7.

So the removal instruction should work.
