After updating from Avast Free v5 to v6 on Windows 7, I am having a problem with launching gadgets. This issue did not exist in v5.
The problem is as follows:
1. The GeForce gadget will launch at start up only partially. That is, I get the start of the icon but the launch is incomplete. Unfortunately, the problem is intermittent. It looks like a race condition or a conflict with the sandbox setting. A reboot sometimes cures it as well.
2.The shut down gadget partially launches as well. Same problem as above.
