hard copy of Avast 6.0 security suite

Hi,

New to this forum and very satisfied of my purchase of this software, working better tham Norton and Kaspersky but anyone knows how I could receive the box and the CD , instead of the download version ?

why not simply burn it to a disc? i do not believe there is a boxed version. it will always be available for download but i know just in case i keep a current copy of the newest version on one of my usb sticks in case i need it and cant get online right away to download it.

I believe that was/is an option during the Order/Purchase process, but I think that it was only a CD as there isn't a Retail box set as such (as far as I'm aware).

just go to the avast website and download the trial of the version you are using and copy it to a usb stick. its just a .exe file. i also recc getting the newest awsclear removal tool from the avast web site as well. just in case you ever need it.

I do the same thing and put it (program installer/exe and uninstaller tool) on a USB stick.  The only thing you won't get are the virus definitions updates.
