ill try that but the thing with that problem with both flash and java is it didnt happen all the time but just enough to be annoying.thanks

java problem still exists,just ran into it.

I know, it's not bug, but then I press Like avast? > Rate & Review avast! RATE NOW I get "Page not found" on AIS. Page I'm redirected is http://download.cnet.com/Avast-Internet-Security/3000-18510_4-75095376.html#submitReview

The link is working fine here... Are you saying that if you click the link above, you get a Page not Found?

What's strange... Now it works for me too from avast interface...  ??? Maybe Cnet had mirror problem at that moment...

Edit: Not working again. Maybe it's protection for one IP address or something...  ???

Two things I noticed on my Win XP (can't post to the "Beta" forum for some reason).

1) Still hangs at XP shutdown

2) After Windows start it takes forever to start programs.
   The "file shield" monitor shows that avast is scanning lots of programs all over the HDD.
   Seems like it is scanning ALL programs that there are shortcuts for in the Start Menu.
   Very annoying. Takes 5 minutes to get mail and web-browser up and running first time.

Ohhh... One more thing with the beta:

Once I installed it it scanned all the time (globe keeped turing).
I checked the "file shield" and it was scanning "AvastUI.exe" over and over and over (all the time).
Had to add it to the ignore list to free enough CPU to do anything else on my system :-)

I think it's Cnet's problem or so. Most cnet download links (download.com) doesn't work for me either. This problem has been around for quite a while and my ISP said that it's not their (ISP) problem...

No problems with the overinstall of 6.0.1000 to 6.0.1021.  Seems like a solid update.

Updating :)  If I have any problems I'm going to use Avast Pro the 30 trail that is on download.com
Edit: If Any problems I guess I will just the installer of 6.0 stable. I have old avast installers on my flash from 5.0 and 5.1 and 6.0 :P
