Outlook Express Scan in Future
« on: September 16, 2004, 03:43:23 PM »
Hi,

Was wondering if AVAST Home will incorporate the Email Scanning feature with Outlook Express 6?

I was using Outlook (MS Office 2003), but has too many non-changeable security features.

If not, can you suggest an alternative Email Scanner for OE 6, that will NOT interfer with Avast?

Thanks,

Avast already can handle OE.
If you want to let Avast scan the mail retrieved with OE or not is up to you.

ps: Make the pictures smaller please. Not everyone has broadband.

That should be:
START > PROGRAMS > AVAST > MAIL PROTECTION WIZARD

He was/is looking for mail protection, so in the help that should point him to the mail protection wizzard, not to the resident wizzard. It doesn't matter if he has it installed or not, the help file still should mention it correct.

Update: Just checked. THe help file does say mail protection wizzard. Think he looked at the wrong place or read it wrong.
