Seems they found the thief of "WebRep" but most likely they are still looking for that man who stole the "Sandbox" in this version. (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=73859.0)

I guess the load gets moving very soon.

Re: Avast 6.0.1027 *** Another problem - update - update
« Reply #184 on: March 17, 2011, 03:01:44 AM »
Easy2Sync for files and Easy2Sync for outlook are now broken.  Easy2Sync for files triggered request to sandbox, I said to allow and now the program doesn't load or ask. Easy2Sync for outlook never asks. Same on 3 different machines, two running pro, one AIS. Both programs ran and synced automatically until .1027 installed.

Win7/64

updated - a reinstall of both Easy2Sync programs netted me one machine where both are working and one machine where only E2S for Outlook is working. The machine where it is working Sandbox asked and I allowed to run normally and checked to not ask again, The one where it is not working did not ask for Sandbox.

A reinstall of Yawcam and manually adding to BH sheild did not help

Uninstall of .1027 - reboot - CCleaner - install .1000 and Yawcam is back working. Re-installed .1027 and the problem is back.  Back to .1000 and all is again good.  Not sure exactly what is getting blocked, but .1027 is the problem.

So far nobody knows, how much time it will take to fix the problem with getting incomplete listings from shared folders?

Any comments from developers?

PS now, because of this problem I have no choice but use my computer without antivirus Avast...

Reading the posts have scared me away. I'll wait for the next beta release.

I put this beta (1021) on my main machine and don't want to get in trouble.

Makes me ask why you opted to try the first pre-release version, having taken the first step, 6.0.1027 fixes some things in 1021 ???

If you are going to take part in beta/pre-release trials then you really need to take precautions, like having drive imaging software to take an exact image of your system before the beta. That way you can revert to that copy in minutes with no problem. You should also be backing up your data as a regular practice and that would include your iPod content too.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

lol I agree with you... that just makes me smile because that reminds me of beta testing threads on Comodo forums a few years ago where some mods use to post once in a while...if too many users were complaining - as opposed to just reporting - about bugs... so the mods use to post in big bold chars that "this was beta software, use at your own risk, you can lose data etc...." the message was sometime appropriate, sometimes not. In the case here again David I agree with you ;)

just to add that Vlk should may be specify this very clearly each time he starts a new thread relating the beta testing of a pre-release version of Avast, something like a banner telling everyone that the software is available for testing purposes exclusively, shouldn't be used in a production environment etc... can lead to system instability... : doesn't matter if some of it does not correspond to reality, it is "potentially" true.

1000, 1021 and now 1027 have all worked flawlessly for me on 3 machines. Two W7 x64 machines and an XP x32.
