YoKenny: I'm not ready to tackle IE9 at this point, and IE 8 has got a critical vulnerability that has not been addressed in a long while. I've always used IE, and it wasn't until just a few months ago I switched to Firefox. I don't know of any real problems with Firefox. Do you think that could be causing my boot times to be slow?

i think the easiest way for you to discover the cause of slow boot time is SOLUTO. That's what it's for , after all. ;_

I won't use Soluto at this point. I had some problems with it, and several others had the same problem. It appears I finally managed to get a clean uninstall of it today and I'm leaving well enough alone.
