As Far As I know about Ubuntu Linux is that you should download .DEB filetype for ubuntu I think..
OS: Windows 11 64-bit
Webbrowser: Mozilla Firefox
PC Specs: Intel i5-12400f, Nvidia RTX 3050, 16gb ram, 1.5TB SSD(s).

...
TGZ is a gzipped tar archive, with install script inside, should work on all x86 Linuxes, and doesn't pollute the packaging mechanisnm of a partocular distro at all.

DEB is a debian/ubuntu package, RPM is a redhat/fedora/mandrake package.

OMG. The guy should get some grip of what package managers are used for. Installing stuff that PM is not aware of is bad, 'mkay?  ::)
