Having returned from a three week vacation I noticed that my version of Avast Home has stopped updating automatically although there is stll plenty of time before it expires and I need to re-register. Neither can I update manually. I tried to uninstall via the normal Windows XP Home "Add or Remove Programs" but no joy. I downloaded the latest version and reinstalled, still no joy. I reregistered - no success. Currently I am left with a program that is getting more and more out of date by the day and I don't seem to be able to do anything about it. Any ideas?
