Update problem
« on: April 05, 2011, 06:50:46 PM »
Hi

I'm using Avast Pro 6.0.1000. The current status screen tells me to update virus definitions 110404-1. When I try to update, it tells me it's already up-to-date with current version 110405-0. But the current status screen still displays 110404-0 and tells me to update.

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and Internet Explorer 9.

Any idea what's causing this?

win7 - Repair of avast. Control Panel, Programs & Features, uninstall a program, select 'avast! Anti-Virus,' click the Change/Remove button and scroll down to Repair, click next and follow. You may need to reboot after the repair. This has in the past resolved this out of sync issue between reported and actual VPS version.
