Keep WebRep enabled but disable search ratings popup?
« on: April 02, 2011, 06:39:23 PM »
Well the subject line just about says it all.

I would like to keep WebRep enabled and shown on my toolbars (FF4 and IE9), but I would like to disable the rating popups on Google searches.

WOT has the same type of popup, but you can disabled the popup and still keep WOT enabled... can this be done with WebRep?

(I apologize if I posted in a wrong category and trust the mods to put it where it belongs.)

Thank you.

Disable JS. ;)

Well there are no pop-ups unless you actually mouse over the webrep icon on the search results.

Thanks guys.

Well shiver me timbers!
So my options are to disable JavaScript or to avoid mousing over the WebRep icons.

We have got what we have currently (all or nothing), there are no options/settings for the webrep. Whether that will change in the future is not known to us avast users.

What are you talking about? WebRep is not essential to avast! It's a platform to vote on your personal opinion on a website. It has nothing to do with the "internet interface" except to show ratings. Nothing more and nothing less. And saying "goodbye" on account of three small. little bars is being a little rash. Isn't it? Considering the amount of protection avast! has to offer.   ???
