IMO the golden period of aussies cricket has ended and they are in the transition period where they are trying to build the team the new cricketer who have come to the team doesn't seem able to fill up the big boot of great players like Warne, Mcgrath, Hyden, Gilchrist etc. In the quarter final match ponting played a great innings but it was not enough for them......India played better... ;)

Don't get to smart otherwise the Aussies will give you a real nasty war of cricket...........means they can play very aggressive it called the bodyline it always their favourite weapon of Aussie cricket so be very very careful ;)

It may well be a cliché but along with the victorious Indian team, "Cricket was the winner".
As a neutral observer I was happy to see either team win.
To me both Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Kumar Sangakkara are superb captains and outstanding representatives of their respective nations.

I completely agree with you Vladimyr great players are always great irrespective of the country. I think india will go to australia in the end of this year really looking forward because its going to be one hell of a series :)

IT was a really close game.. Too bad we made a lot of bad decisions :( but proud of the Lankan team! :D Sangakkara's speech ( The captain of the srilankan team) was praised by many people over the world.. He and his team did us proud :) Dhoni played exceptionally well and showed what he's capable of.. Congratz guys! btw does anyone know when the T20 world cup is? :D

Murali did no such thing :P they are the best of friends in/out side the field :D We are going to miss Murali's humbleness, magic, spirit, sportsmanship, smile and everything about him  :'( he will be greatly missed but never forgotten.. A Cricket Legend, undoubtedly the best bowler ever - his stats prove it ;) Sachin is another legend, but with the bat :)
