As of yesterday, our network PCs have all been returning the following error message (seen in the ADNM console Client Side events log)

Function setifaceUpdateFiles() has failed. Return code is 0x20000011, dwRes is 20000011.

We think this error may be to do with a broken package being downloaded and so have waited until today to see if it was fixed by another download overnight.  However, today we are still getting the same error.

Workstation version of Avast is 4.8.1061 and the last VPS database to be successfully distributed to our workstations is 110510-0.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Andrew

Our workstations are displaying the same message.  Started yesterday and all have been turned off overnight and are displaying them again.

I have also received a message to say that our Licence Key has been disabled.  This does not sound too good!

Any news on what is causing this and what can be done to rectify it?

Many thanks

I am seeing a similar issue here. Mirror has VPS 110511-1 but clients have 110510-1 even after running the Update VPS Task.

Yes, the problem seems to be resolved here today too.  Is there a way of stepping back to a previous VPS file if this happens in future?

Why exactly?  Avast will just update to the next best update server if no update is available, so it should fix itself.
