Exactly. This is a complete mirror image of your pc as it is right now. If anything ever happens just mount the stored image and your backup and running in mess than hour. Be sure to make a bootable cd which is included in the program. Also backup at least twice a week or so. That way your images are current. It's also great if your internal hard drive fails. Just replace the drive and mount your stored image.
A system image would have helped with this issue you posted.
