It only seems to be on Windows XP and the complete path to the file that we have is:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\UNIDRV.DLL

Just checked it, I don't get this..!!???
See screenshot.

Some clients of ours are also having these problems.

They're working on managed 4.8 clients. I've suggested adding the printerdriver as an exclusion, I've had no reply yet if that works.

I hope this problem gets fixed soon.

this is FP. We are working on FIX.

Great, so we can put this to a solved-soon status. ;)

Databases for 4.x versions and 5.x/6.x differ, therefore I didn't get the problem here.
Everyone have a nice day/night,

I have 2 PC's with the issue - both XP SP3 and both managed versions.  One is 4.8.1038.0 and the other is 4.8.1061.0.

I provide IT support for a company with 180 PCs and Notebooks.  I have just started getting reports that people are unable to print from Applications or from the "Print Test Page" button in the printer driver menu for any HP printer.  I don't think that the avast virus alert is a false positive, it's early days though so I could be wrong.

Hi guys,
we solved the problem, for the moment, replacing unidrv.dll file with an older version, copied from a windows 2003 server.

The working version of the file is 0.3.6001.22116.
