So don't need to uninstall older version and re-install newer version.

Just update button from 5.0.677 version is o.k.?

Thanks.

Yeah just click 'update program' on the GUI :)

I like Avast, I use the free version, but this upgrade caused the mouse to not work starting a game called Grand Fantasia in the sandbox, starting the game normally the mouse works, Grand Fantasia uses gameguard, Crossfire a military shooter game uses xtrap, which got an error when I attenpted to start it after the upgrade in the sandbox, after reboot it seems to be fine.

Hope to fix this bug

Is Firefox installed in it's normal location?  Also, I don't think that Avast will recognize Firefox Portable.

If it's portable how is it installed? Can't install something portable.

It is not the portable version, it is the standard install, and avast is not recognising it.

There is an ini setting, "Browser2Installed=0" but I am not sure if changing this value would force an install...that would be one for a dev ;)

Sorry, but I have to insist: what happened to the localized installers?

The single-language installers are gone. From now on, we're only producing installers with all languages.

Thanks

Yes. As far as I know, Windows Defender does not affect avast.
