I'd like to see a SafeZone stand alone application that can be purchased by those of us that still use the Free version of avast!

We also need an app. for our smart phone.  :)
Those are good suggestions.  +1

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but Bit Defender Total Security 2012 has a couple of interesting features that I don't think are included in avast! 7 AIS

1. Chat Encryption – Keeps your conversations private on Yahoo! Messenger.

2. File Encryption – Locks up confidential files in an encrypted vault.

I would definitely use the File Encryption feature.

1. (dun mind as long as it does not take up too much computing power to provide encryption) (provide option to switch off)

2. +1 as an additional security/privacy feature

Right click > Open and bypass Avast sandbox.

It would have to also ignore anything called by the executable opened with this. It's a right PITA with Autopatcher because Avast stores the path to what the user tells it to ignore, so if the same thing is run from a different location this has to be done all over again.

The alternative is temporarily turning off Avast, which can be a problem with many cleanup and fixing utilities when trying to eradicate malware. How about an option to not block a program no matter where it's launched from?

Security hole: malware posing with the same name in a different path.

As stated elsewhere yesterday:

Either:
1.  Allow the use of either LastPass or Roboform Lite Chrome Extensions in the SafeZone browser.
or...
2. Integrate Avast EasyPass into the SafeZone browser.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Honestly I would perfer option 1.
But since Avast sells a Roboform clone known as EasyPass, I would understand why you had to go with option 2.

Either way, currently safeZone browser is just too impractical to use.
No one honestly remembers all their complex passwords to enter into the safe zone browser.
And if someone does remember them all, their passowrds are likely not strong passwords.

(...if someone keeps their passords on a slip of paper they have all worlds of problems  LOL)

@Gooob: actually EasyPass is not clone of Roboform, it was bought from Roboform

i remembered somewhere it was stated that avast did not use LastPass because of their strict licensing practices (correct me if i m wrong)

An option to NOT TERMINATE PROGRAM after the analysis is complete would be nice.

I love the idea of a sandbox in Avast, but hate for this reason. It makes installing some programs and running some portable apps a pain in the you know what. I'm at the point now that I have to turn it off completely. If I had an option to keep running the app in question after the analysis is complete, instead of just terminating it, I would be happy to keep the sandbox on.

Yes, this was fixed in new beta version (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=99540.0).

IMPROVEMENT in sandbox analysis

Most of the time it analyzes real malware the result always falls to be not enough evidence...this needs to be fixed as many users may tend to run real malware normally

UNIQUE IDEA!! Would be more powerful if it is not blocking almost all downloads even legitimate ones.
