That is already possible in the AutoSandbox settings it can be set to Ask, it has been that way for some considerable time.

That isn't what you asked ?

If as I said you set it to Ask you have executive control to allow the program to be run, not the autosandbox. If a program is suspicious you don't want to allow it to run, unless you know for sure that it isn't suspicious.

I strongly agree with logos and firzen771 regarding LASTPASS password manager.  What good is this to me without a password manager.  I'm disappointed.  Can I get my money back.  PLEASE work with LastPass so this can be added to SafeZone.  It would be greatly appreciated.

I was happy to pay for Internet Security until I realized that I was not able to use LastPass.  I am totally lost without it.  I try to practice very good security measures but SafeZone is not at all worth using without knowing my passwords.  Any chance we can work that into the program?  It would be appreciated by many.

One feature in Internet Security doesn't permit LastPass and that's the dedicated browser designed to be used for your banking and shopping
if you choose to use that feature. Not all of us do.
No where else is LastPass prevented from running.

Bumping this old thread as it discussed the issue of Safe zone Chromium not being up to date, among other things.

pk explained:
Quote
@NiveusLuna, I agree with you, but it's quite hard to do. Avast7 should use Chromium 15.x version (last known) and every time we get a Chromium build we have to do a lot of changes (add our DNS protection, disable a lot of components, plugins, etc). Since it's little automatized, we can't do that everytime when we release a new avast build (stand-alone SafeZone browser has approx. 30Mb and it's quite a lot for regular antivirus updates).

I well see your reasons, but the current [August 2015] Chromium in Safe zone is Version 38.0.2078.1 (280821),
which dates back to more than one year ago!, according to Chromium version history. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_(web_browser).

Like NiveusLuna noticed, old browser versions would have security holes which have since been fixed in newer releases.
