Sadly, if Kaspersky isn't fully uninstalled, it will interfere with any other antivirus you do install.  I don't know why the tool doesn't run on your machine.  I guess that it is possible that the uninstall of Kaspersky via Add/Remove Programs fully did it's job, but then the removal tool should state that in some fashion.

Ccleaner found and removed many elements staying after the KASPERSKY removing with Add/Remove. So I don't think there are interactions between the 2 antiviruses now.
I can prove it : after uninstalling KASPERSKY, I installed AVAST 5 (until the problem with WMP11 be resolved), and Youtube worked exactly like before installing KASPERSKY, so not very fast, but a little faster than now.
Since I installed the full AVAST 6 version the videos load slower.

edit : I just checked my connection speed, it is approximately 7.5 Mbps now. But Youtube videos still load slowly :(

It seems there is an awful lot of things that don't work on your machine.  FWIW, I've found Avast 6 to be faster than Avast 5, all while adding more features.  Perhaps someone could look at your machine remotely.  I'm not skilled at such an undertaking.

Yes, maybe :) Thank you :)
But why the videos on youtube load much faster with KASPERSKY than with AVAST ?

c'est un hasard je sais pas, laisse tomber cette piste, Avast ne ralentit pas le débit video, j'ai jamais vu ça arriver.

:(

Well, sometimes the videos load a little faster. When they load too slow, I only have to close and open firefox again. I will live with that :(

But I don't think it is pure fortuity if the videos load faster with KASPERSKY. Could it work better if I install the newest Firefox version ? I didn't install it because many friends told me that it is full of technical problems, they preferred to go back with the latest Firefox 3 version, the one I currently use.
