Which port are uses by Avast ?

What ere the port that Avast use to go on the internet (for updates, ...)

Hi, welcome to the forums.

It uses the HTTP port (port 80) and the program you need to allow in your firewall is avast.setup, this only gets created at the time of update though.

Have a look at your firewall logs to confirm.

If you can let us know a little about your system and the reason you need this information, we can probably be more helpful.

Dom, if with ... you mean etc. I'll just add that avast! could listen any pop3 or smtp port. You can configure them at avast4.ini file (see 'Settings' on my signature). Default are 110 and 25. Oh, I forgot, can listen IMAP at 143...  ;)
