[SOLVED] avast! 6.0.1091 & Google Chrome 11.0.696.60

Hi,

I recently updated Google Chrome and now I able to see avast! Logo at system tray always animating whenever I use Google Chrome. It doesn't matter anyway but the thing is now Google Chrome takes ~ 10 seconds or more to view homepage or any other page. I have followed solutions given by Google Help Center like scanning for Rootkits, Changing firewall settings, Uninstalling/Installing, Changing Google Chrome options etc. but problem still persist.

* Notified improvement after disabling avast! Internet Security.
* Real-time : avast! IS, Malwarebytes AntiMalware, Windows Firewall

Can anyone guess what's going on and specific solution for this?

Avast is just scanning the traffic, that is all.
Disable the shields one at a time and see if one of them is causing it.
And yes, Chrome isn't as fast as Google claims it is.
Opera is faster.

Thank you for your comments... Anyway its not avast!  It's MBAM. After turning off MBAM real time protection, now Google Chrome restored its speed.
