I recently updated to Avast! Free 6.0.1 and have discovered that the new "WebRep" feature is appending unintelligible info to email I send using Gmail in Firefox 4.0.1. I have circumvented the problem by disabling the WebRep extension in Firefox but this also disables the primary feature of WebRep which is to provide a quick visual rating of web pages, for example, in web search results.
I've noticed a number of older threads on this topic but did not see any where a clear explanation and/or planned resolution was identified.
Please advise.
